The successful conduct of the Anambra state governorship election 2021 and landslide victory by the All-Progressives Grand Alliance APGA has been described as God’s ultimate will for Ndi Anambra.

 

The National President Anambra State Association of Town Unions, Chief Titus Akpudo stated this while reacting to APGA’s victory at the just concluded election.

 

According to chief Akpudo, ASATU as a body was confident that APGA will sweep the polls considering the antecedent of the candidate of the party and the quality leadership of Governor Obiano which was why they endorsed him few hours to the election.

 

He said they did not stop at that but went ahead to get the electorate since they are closest to the people in grassroot, expressing appreciation to God for making their dream come through.

 

The ASATU boss said he is optimistic that Professor Soludo will deliver as expected.

 

On his part, the Special Adviser to the governor on Town Union matters Chief Alex Onukwue said that the fact that the election was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere and APGA candidate delivered is enough evidence that Governor Willie Obiano is finishing strong.

 

Chief Onukwue who was the immediate past national president of ASATU noted that the last election was the most peaceful, devoid of killings and chaos, adding that the Governor’s developmental projects across the state endeared him to Ndi Anambra, securing the victory of the party at the election.

 

He appreciated Ndi Anambra for voting enmass for APGA.
