Federal Government has appointed one hundred and eighty eight new ambassadors-in-situ

Conferring and presenting the ambassadors with letters of credence, the Minister of state for Foreign Affairs, Mr Zubairu Dada, described the occasion as unique said not everyone, who is being conferred with the title,  was in recognition for their selfless service to the nation and as such, should not see the title as as a favour but their rights for quality service.
He urged them to maintain the good service to Nigeria,  as it is the time when the nationalism in them will come to the fore, especially by assisting government in working for the good of the country.
Speaking on behalf others, Ambassador Julius Shodepe, thanked God for the opportunity, saying many of them had retired several years ago and longed for the title which is just coming.
