Olive Foam Limited, manufacturers of Olive Foams, has received a Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme, MANCAP Certificate from the Standards Organization of Nigeria, SON, having conformed to the relevant Nigerian Industrial Standards, NIS, since inception.

The company, which has its factory at Kilometer two, Old Oba Junction, Oba, Anambra State, received the MANCAP Certificate at the SON office in Awka, alongside other nineteen companies operating in Anambra State.

Correspondent Emmanuel Okonkwo reports that the MANCAP Certificate received by Olive Foam Limited, is a testimony that the company has maintained quality in its productions and can produce world class products.

Presenting the certificate to the company, the Director General, SON, Mr. Farouk Salim, who spoke through the South East Regional Coordinator, Engineer Nwaoma Olujie commended Olive Foam Limited for sticking to standards set by Nigerian Government through the SON, for local manufacturers, and encouraged them not to deviate. Earlier, the Anambra State Coordinator of SON, Engineer Onipede Adeoye reminded the company the need to maintain quality in its production, which according to him earned them the MANCAP Certification, and assured that SON will continue to give them all the necessary support.

In an interview, the General Manager of Olive Foam Limited, Mr. Osmund Ngwu explained that the company, which was established in 2016, has been known for quality, and assured never to deviate from standard, but rather to keep improving.

Mr. Ngwu listed Olive mattresses, Olive Orthopaedic, Olive pillows and sheetings as some of the products of the company, adding that the products are available in markets across Nigeria, and that people can contact them through the following numbers, 08033368909 or 08103794671, for more enquiries and patronage.

He however called on Nigerian Government to device means of improving the value of naira to make things easy for manufacturers and consumers.
