The Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Disability Matters, Barrister Chuks Ezewuzie has rewarded his constituents who toiled with him during the recently concluded Anambra governorship election to ensure that the All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate, Professor Chukwuma Soludo emerged winner of the governorship election.
The event which took place at his Ekwulobia residence Aguata Local Government Area attracted members of the disability Community, Ndi Ekwulobia as well as some party stakeholders.
Correspondent Chibuzor Okoye reports that thanking his members and Ndi Ekwulobia for heeding to his call and voted for APGA and Prof. Soludo, Barrister Ezewuzie noted that he had promised to reward his members and his people with one live cow each as well as some cash, if they vote for his party during the election.
The Special Adviser who said that he is following the footsteps of his principal, Governor Willie Obiano who doesn’t renege on his promises, made it clear that his people had done as requested, hence the need for him to fulfil his promise.
The legal luminary commended Governor Obiano for giving Ndi Anambra the best parting gift in the person of Professor Soludo and commended the governor for completing the road from Ekwulobia to Eziniifite, which he described as very strategic to the socio-economic development of the area.
Thanking Barrister Ezewuzie for keeping to his promise, a physically impaired lady from Eziniifite, Miss Nzube Peter prayed God to bless and sustain him and his family at all times.
The event was also used to welcome some other party members into the APGA family, even as the handing over of the cows to the beneficiaries by Barrister Ezewuzie climaxed the exercise that coincided with the birthday of the APGA Deputy Governor-elect, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim.
