A new family emerged recently, when former Miss Chibuonu Vivian Eze walked down the aisle to tie the nuptial knot with her heartthrob, Mr. Somtochukwu Ejike Ezeani of Neni, Anaocha Local Government Area.

Miss Vivian Eze is the daughter of Mrs. Ifeyinwa Eze of Commercial Services Department, Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS.

Staff reporter Emengini Osadebe who covered the event reports that the wedding took place at St Joseph Catholic Church, Oguta Road, Onitsha.

In his homily, the Vicar of the Church, Reverend Father Emmanuel Okeke charged the new couple to create an enjoyable married life for themselves by planning and praying together, listening and appreciating each other’s attributes and spending time with each other to spice up their marriage.

The Chairman on the occasion, Chief Valentine Ezechukwu advised the new couple to be tolerant and accommodate each other for their marriage to stand the test of time, and prayed God to bless their union.

The parents of the Groom, Mr. Oliver and Professor Mrs. Nneka Ezeani expressed joy and gratitude to God that they were alive to witness the wedding of their only son and prayed God to grant them all the good things of marriage.

While the parents of the Bride Mr. Godwin and Mrs. Ifeyinwa Eze of the ABS whose joy knew no bounds, advised the couple to put their trust in God and stand firm in their love for each other as love surpasses all things.

ABS family who were at the event include, former Head of Station ABS Onitsha, Mr. Victor Mbanefo, the Deputy Head of Station, Mr. Val Oguejior, Head of News Unit Onitsha, Mrs. Chinyelu Obiejesi, Deputy Director in the News Unit Onitsha, Mrs. Miriam Chukwuma and Head of Administration, Lady Tina Ekenta, all congratulated the new couple and prayed God to bless their union.

The couple Mr. Somtochukwu and Mrs. Vivian Ezeani thanked God for a dream come true and promised to love and cherish each other for the rest of their lives.

Highpoints of the event were the exchange of marital vows and rings, bridal Dance, cutting of cake, among others.
