The remains of the late Pa Lawrence Ndukaku Aniagoh, have been laid to rest in his family compound at Umudunu Abagana in Njikoka Local Government Area.

The late Pa Lawrence Aniagoh is the father of the Director-General of Anambra State Digital and Entrepreneurship Office, Rotarian Ifeanyi Aniagor.

Correspondent Kenechukwu Chukwudi reports that the burial ceremony of the late Pa Aniagoh, who died at the age of one hundred and six, started with a Church service by the Diocese of Awka, Anglican Communion and was well attended by family members, friends and sympathizers who gathered to pay their final respects to the late centenarian.

In a sermon during the service, Reverend Canon Jason Onyeakagbusi, of Saint John’s Parish Abagana noted that the deceased lived a pious life as Christian, raised his family in Godly way and was blessed by God with long life.

The first son of the deceased Mr. Ikechukwu Aniagoh noted that the words of his Father were valuable to his life, which he cherishes as the legacies and memories he left behind.

In the same vein, the first daughter of the deceased, Mrs. Adaeze Okoye described his father as peace-loving and having lost his Mum at tender age, his father played a critical role in her life which she’s proud of him, as his roles in the family will be missed.

The immediate past Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Sir Harford Oseke, The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Dr Uche Nworah and Mr. Paulson Okeke, a friend of the family remarked that the life of late Pa Lawrence is worth celebrating.

Top Government functionaries, including the Deputy Governor-Elect, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Honourabl Uche Okafor, Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Mr Uchenna Okafor, members of the State House of Assembly amongst others all gathered to condole the Director-General of Anambra State Digital and Entrepreneurship Office, Rotarian Ifeanyi Anagor and family.
