An Isuofia born entrepreneur, Dr Marcel Ofomata has celebrated the Anambra Governor-elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo in grand style at his country home, Isuofia, Aguata Council Area, following his victory at the just-concluded election.

 

Correspondent, Nneka Anoliefo reports that Dr. Ofomata also used the occasion to fete APGA faithful in Isuofia and his Akwa Ibom Community friends.

The celebration attracted Isuofia sons and daughters, members of Old Aguata Union, Akwa Ibom community resident in Anambra, Akwa Ibom Students Association, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and Federal Poly Oko chapters, Traditional ruler of Isuofia, Igwe Christopher Moughalu, friends and well-wishers.

 

Dr Ofomata, who is the Chairman, Amaecom Group, and Patron, Akwa Ibom Community resident in Anambra said he was using the occasion to appreciate Ndi Isuofia and Akwa Ibom indigenes after the Anambra election because they supported and believed in his kinsman and Governor-elect, Professor Soludo, and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim.

He also appreciated God Almighty and Governor Willie Obiano for the choice of Professor Soludo, whom he described as the man with vision and mission to transform Anambra having performed creditably as the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor.

 

He urged Ndi Anambra and Akwa Ibom indigenes resident in the State to continue to give him unalloyed support to enable him succeed in transforming the State.

 

Dr Amaechi Ofomata, a co-founder of Marcel Oforma Foundation, used the occasion to pledge his support to the incoming administration.

In their remarks, the Traditional ruler of Isuofia, Igwe Moughalu, the President, Akwa Ibom Community in Anambra State, Akparawa Solomon Edet, and the Director of Media and Strategy, Marcel Ofomata Foundation, Mr. Peter Saturday expressed joy over the resounding victory of Professor Soludo and APGA, calling on other parties who contested the election to join hands in developing the State.

 

Also speaking, the member Representing Aguata two Constituency, in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Okechukwu Okoye, the Area Manager, Industrial Training Fund, Awka, Mrs. Nancy Ekong and the Zonal Coordinator, Anambra Demand Soludo, Mr Arthur Nwachukwu, among others, joined in thanking God for the APGA victory and urged the Governor-elect to invest in human capital development.
