As members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, affiliated political pressure groups and concerned stakeholders continue to roll out the drums in celebration of the victory of the party and Professor Chukwuma Soludo at the last month’s governorship election in Anambra State, the Woman Leader, Soludo Support Group, Dunukofia Local Government Area, Mrs. Njideka Anusi has joined in the celebration by hosting members of the group and APGA in Ukwulu Wards one and two as a way to thank them for their efforts and courage to stand with the party throughout the electioneering process.

Once again David Okpokwasili reports that the event was well attended by the National Officers of the Soludo Support Group led by the Deputy National Coordinator and former Chairman, Ihiala Local Government Area, Chief Chigozie Awudosi, the National Woman Leader of the group, Mrs. Theresa Okoye, a retired Permanent Secretary, Anambra State Ministry of Environment, Dr Mrs. Ngozi Ezeike, APGA and Soludo Support Group leaders in the two wards and local government area.

Speaking to the ABS at the event, the Transition Committee Chairman, Dunukofia Local Government Area, Mr. Emeka Chinweze said the election of Professor Soludo was ordained by God and that he was a candidate whose track record was visible to all as such, acceptable to all people of goodwill in the state.

 

While describing the victory of Professor Soludo as the victory of the people, Chief Awudosi explained that the Soludo Support Group has set up a welfare scheme to empower members of the group at the grassroots and make them feel the impact of the victory without leaving anyone behind.

For the National Woman Leader, Soludo Support Group, Mrs. Okoye, the journey of Victory for Soludo and APGA in the last governorship election was evidence of people’s power while commending President Muhammadu Buhari for providing a level playing ground for all political parties in the election and for not interfering in the process which helped to ensure that the election was free, fair and credible.

The Host who is also the Woman Leader, Ukwulu Community, Mrs. Anusi said she cannot contain her joy for the peaceful manner the election was conducted and called on all Ndị Anambra no matter their political affiliations to support the incoming government to deliver on their promises to the state.

Other stakeholders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA including the Anambra State Youth Leader of the Party, Mr. Chike Odoji, stakeholders of the party in the Community, Chief Angus and Albert Anusi, called on the Governor-elect to hold the trust of Ndị Anambra on him in regards and work hard during his tenure to fulfill his promises of impacting the lives of every onye Anambra positively.
