Nnokwa community in Idemili South local government area, has promised to mobilize her indigenes at both home and in the diaspora towards contributing to the success of the incoming administration of Prof Chukwuma Soludo.
This is contained in a goodwill message signed by the traditional ruler of the community, Igwe Emmanuel Ajamma, and the President General of Nnokwa Progress Union, Barr Emeka Maduabuchi.
The community says it is heartily felicitating with Professor Soludo and Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, for their resounding victory at the November sixth Anambra governorship poll, just as they are also thanking God for the recent Federal High Court judgement, dismissing attempts to negate their victory.
According to them, Nnokwa in its entirety is happy that God has directed the choice of the two personalities, to steer the ship of Anambra in the next four years, expressing their belief that their emergence at this point in time in Anambra history will record a turning point in Anambra’s bold march to peace, unity and progress.
While expressing their loyalty and solidarity, Igwe Ajamma and Barr Maduabuchi assured of the people’s individual and corporate positive contributions to the success of the Soludo administration.
Meanwhile, the community has identified with the foresightedness of Governor Willie Obiano in recommending Professor Soludo as the one who will lead Anambra many steps up the ladder of development at this critical time.
Ndi Nnokwa hails Governor Obiano’s many legacy projects, top of which is the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, commencing daily commercial flights tomorrow.
Nnokwa community recalls that at the inception of Obiano’s administration, the first family chose Nnokwa for the episcopal Eucharistic celebration to mark their wedding silver jubilee, adding that the community will extend such receptive alms to welcome his successor, Professor Soludo.
