The All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Stakeholders in Awada Sub-Ward Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area have organized a special thank you party to celebrate Professor Chukwuma Soludo’s victory at the just concluded Gubernatorial election in Anambra state.
The event was held at the sub-Ward coordinator’s residence, Nwaziki Avenue Awada, Obosi.
Addressing the gathering, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on APGA New Media, Mr. Nnanna Nzewi, expressed gratitude to all Stakeholders in the ward for their efforts in ensuring APGA’s victory at the poll, describing Professor Soludo as the best candidate who is going to consolidate on the legacies of Governor Obiano.
Mr. Nzewi, who is also the Secretary of APGA Idemili North Campaign Committee, pointed out that APGA government has not failed Ndi Awada as Mgbemena street road has been constructed, while Nwaziki Avenue will commence soon, adding that APGA has given Ndi Anambra a reason to smile.
The Coordinator, Awada Sub-Ward, Obosi, Chief Osita Nzewi stated that APGA’s victory at the poll was ordained by God despite the antics of the opposition and reminded Ndi Anambra and Ndi Igbo in general that APGA’s victory is for all.
In their separate interviews, the woman Leader Awada Sub-Ward, Obosi, Mrs Ada Azike and the Chief Provost, Awada Land Lord’s Association, Chief Obinna Ogugua maintained that professor Soludo is a tested and trusted candidate for Ndi Anambra and expressed optimism that he will not disappoint the confidence the electorate reposed on him.
Presentation of bags of rice to the Stakeholders and party agents, scholarship award to children of an APGA member in Awada and granting of business grant to a Woman by the Sponsor of the party, Mr. Nzewi formed the highpoints of the event.
