Melodious angelic voices rented  the air at Saint Joseph De Worker Chaplaincy, UNIZIK Permanent Site, Awka, during the 2021 festival of carols and nine lessons heralding the birth of Jesus Christ.

 

The voices which came from Saint Cecilia Angelic Voices Choir, UNIZIK had many features depicting what is happening in today’s society and how to correct the challenges in making the world a serene place inline with coming of Christ to salvage all from shackles of the enemies.

In one of the segments  the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu were among the Catholic Men Organisation that rendered Christmas songs.

 

Addressing the gathering, the Chaplain of the Chaplaincy Reverend Father Remiguis Ezeokonkwo said that while passing through the walls of higher learning, that it is important that the minds of the youths are channelled towards things of Christ which will make them remain focused and promote morals.

The President of the Saint Cecilia Angelic Voice Choir, Anthony Anisiobi while welcoming their guests said the music festival is an annual commemoration, anniversary, celebration, performance and display of the beauty of diverse musical traditions.

On his part, the Chairman of the Music Festival, Mr Ikechukwu Umeh encouraged the choir to live more of moral and use this moment to reconcile with their maker as it calls for sober reflection.
