It was a celebration galore at Isuofia in Aguata Local Government Area as Dr Godwin Okafor the Chairman and Managing Director of G.I Okafor and sons limited the makers of WinCo foam and pillows together with his wife Chief Mercy, hosted crème de la-creme of the society at their residence in honour of the Governor-elect Professor Chukwuma Soludo and Deputy Governor-elect Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim.

The event attracted the transition committee Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area Chief Eche Ezeibe, a one-time Vice Chairman of APGA in Anambra South senatorial District Chief Titus Anigbogu, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-party Affairs Chief Ben Obi among others.

Speaking during the event the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-party Affairs Chief Ben Obi who described the victory of Professor Chukwuma Soludo of APGA in the November sixth governorship election as victory for Ndigbo called on Ndigbo to embrace APGA in order to have a voice in the Nation’s polity.

Contributing a one-time Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in Anambra South senatorial District Chief Titus Anigbogu, commended Dr Godwin Okafor and his wife Chief Mercy for their contributions to the victory of APGA in the Governorship election and prayed God to reward them abundantly.

The National Chairman of Anambra Demands Soludo Chief Jude Emecheta who also attended the event described Professor Soludo as a man who is properly rooted in governance saying that street naming and house numbering will be sustained in the State to enhance its aesthetics.

He thanked Ndi Anambra for their love for APGA and called for its sustainability.

Chief Emecheta called on the people to always pay their tax and levies regularly to enable the Government serve them better.

In a remark the Chief host Dr Godwin Okafor said that the essence of the gathering was to thank God for the victory of Professor Chukwuma Soludo in the November sixth governorship election and expressed the hope that the Governor-elect Professor Soludo will deploy his experience to the development of the State.

He thanked Governor Willie Obiano and APGA leadership for the confidence reposed in Professor Soludo an indigene of Isuofia and assured him of their support always.

Rendition by various choristers, and cultural displays added glamour to the event which was also attended by the Managing Director of Poly-foam Chief Evaristus Ubah, staff of Isuofia Micro Finance Bank Limited, cultural proponents, the religious among others.
