Members of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Oba Ward Two, have held a victory party in honour of Soludo-Ibezim victory at the governorship poll.

 

The event which took place at the residence of Engineer Emeka Okoye in Uruokowu village, Oba, Idemili South Council Area featured installation of APGA ward stakeholders.

 

Dignitaries that graced the event include, an APGA Board of Trustees Member, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, an APGA state Executive member, Mr. Felix Obunadike, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Economic Planning and Budget, Mr. Obiora Obiabunmo, Former Local Government Chairman of Idemili South, Barrister Chinedu Ezenwa, among other government functionaries and APGA stakeholders.

In his remarks, Chief Ezeonwuka said the celebration was necessary to appreciate members of the ward for their encouraging votes which contributed in the emergence of Soludo-Ibezim as winner of the November sixth election.

 

Chief Ezeonwuka who is also a member of the ward, stated that Anambra State is in the era of legacy governance, adding that the incoming administration will give Ndi Anambra more legacy projects that will place the state on global map.

 

The APGA BOT assured the Council Area that their undivided votes for the party will attract the presence of the incoming administration, commending the newly installed APGA stakeholders for their contribution to the party and charged them not to relent in their service.

In his speech, one of the newly installed stakeholders, Engineer Emeka Okoye expressed gratitude for the official installation as an APGA stakeholder, promising to continue in his service to the party.

 

Engineer Okoye who is the convener of the victory party and also a consultant to Governor Obiano stated that in no distant time, APGA will conquer the entire Eastern region and beyond.

 

Mr. Chukwuemeka Ibeh, Dr. Ebele Chukwuma, Mr. Ifeanyi Onwupenata and Mr. Benjamin Esimoneje were among the newly installed APGA Stakeholders.

 

In an interview with ABS, an Executive Assistant to Governor Obiano on Community Laison, Mr. Augustine Ejibendu and the National Convener of Youths Earnestly Support Soludo, Dr. Nelson Omenugha said the victory is worth celebrating, describing the election as a tough one.

 

They  pointed out that Professor Soludo is the kind of governor Anambra needs, adding that he is a governor that will mobilize the creative ideas of Ndi Anambra and called for massive support of the people to move the state forward.
