Following the dilapidating state of Umueze Anam-Oroma Etiti-Umuenwelum-Nzam-Inoma Federal Road in Anambra West Local Government Area, the Transition Committee Chairman of the Council Area, Honourable Sylvester Orji- Okafor has commenced remedial works on them to ensure safety and smooth yuletide celebration for ndi Anambra West.
According to Honourable Okafor, what he has done was to ensure that Ndi Anambra west have a blissful Christmas season.
The Anambra west Transition Committee Chairman who stated this during the rehabilitation flag off exercise, maintained that the gesture is a deliberate effort to ensure that the roads are in good shape during the festive season, pending when the Federal government will commence work on the roads.
Honourable Okafor, thanked Governor Willie Obiano for the yearly intervention on the road, adding that though the road is a federal one, the state government rehabilitates it every year to offer relief to the plights of motorists using the road.
