The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Petroleum and Union Matters, Comrade Peter Nwosu, has assured Ndi Anambra that there will be no fuel scarcity or pump price increase in Anambra State.
Comrade Nwosu, who gave the assurance in a press release, urged those engaging in panic buying to desist as there is no plan to increase the pump price of Petroleum products.
He appealed to those who store Petroleum products in combustible places to desist as the harmattan season is a period of fire outbreak, saying that storing Petroleum products in high density area is an invitation to fire explosion.
Comrade Nwosu further urged petrol station owners to ensure that fire extinguishers in their stations are refilled, while their staff are trained on how to respond to any fire outbreak.
The Senior Special Assistant assured that the Anambra State Government will continue to do all that is possible to ensure that the security, welfare and interest of Ndi Anambra are protected.
He advised Ndi Anambra to call 08066382000 to report any petroleum related issues and Complaints.
