The final burial rites of the late Chiefs Ekwealor Akwolu and Oguguo Akwolu, both of Umuoba Aboegbu Anam in Anambra West Local Government Area have been held.
The event which was held at the premises of Chief Ekwealor Akwolu’s compound attracted family members, friends and sympathizers both within and outside Nigeria.
Speaking during the burial ceremony, Mr. Donatus Ekwealor-Akwolu described his late father as humane, courageous and honest who lived a life worthy of emulation.
Mr. Donatus who promised to sustain all the good legacies left by his late father, prayed God to grant all those who came to commiserate with them journey mercies.
Sympathizing with Mr. Donatus Ekwealor-Akwolu over the death of his father, a business executive, Chief Osita Offozor prayed God to console and comfort the families of the deceased in their time of grief.
An in-law to the deceased families from Amanuke in Awka North Local Government Area, Chief Felix Anukwu equally prayed to God to console the families of the late Chief Ekwealor Akwolu and Oguguo Akwolu respectively.
Correspondent Chibuzor Okoye reports that masquerade displays, condolences by friends and sympathizers added glamour to the burial ceremony.
