The people of Akpu Community in Orumba South Local Government Area recently converged on Chief Emeka Agba’s country home as he celebrated two years anniversary of his chieftaincy title, “Odagbulu Ihe Dagbulu Ihe Dagbulu Enyi one of Igbo land”.

Correspondent Emengini Osadebe reports that the event attracted traditional rulers from within the state.

In their separate speeches, Igwe Marcel Okoli of Akpu Community and his Enugwu-Umuonyia counterpart, Igwe Peter Nebechukwu described Chief Agba as a hard-working young man, whose philanthropic nature had endeared him to all the traditional rulers in the state, hence the conferment of Odagbulu Ihe Dagbulu Ihe Dagbulu Enyi one of Igbo land on him, promising their support through prayers.

Speaking at event , the former Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Emeka Sibudu testified that Chief Agba has contributed immensely to the wellbeing of members of his community and while describing the title as well deserved, urged him not to relent.

On his part the celebrant Chief Emeka Agba said celebrating the anniversary of his chieftaincy title with his people annually is a way of appreciating God and adding more meaning to the title conferred to him by over forty traditional rulers at Igbariam in 2020.

For his wife, Barrister Juliet Agba, who expressed joy and gratitude to God for the honour, described her husband as a man of great ideas, who derive pleasure from helping people and urged Akpu Community to rejoice and thank God for the gift of Chief Agba to the community.

Highpoints of the event were performances by young talents sponsored by Chief Agba, Masquerade display and dance by the celebrant and his family.
