The President-General of Nnokwa Progress Union, Barrister Emeka Maduabuchi, has tasked the enterprising and ingenious spirit of the youths, with a view to deploying them purposefully for development of the society.

Addressing the annual general meeting of the community at Willie Obiano Civic Centre, Nnokwa, Barrister Maduabuchi expressed worry that some talented youths tend to undermine their endowments, thus allowing them fallow and undeveloped.

He extolled the gigantic projects of the Obiano administration, including the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, the Community Choose Your Project initiative, and a host of others, and pleaded that government at all levels strive to create more job opportunities for the teeming population of the unemployed.

The Nnokwa Progress Union boss reiterated the exceptional qualities of the incoming Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, and his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, admitting that a lot of work still needs to be done in opening up all parts of the State.

Barrister Maduabuchi said the people of Nnokwa, like the rest of the State, are hopeful that Professor Soludo will hit the ground running by dotting parts of the State with development programmes and projects, and assured of the community’s unalloyed loyalty and solidarity in moving Anambra forward.
