The member representing Anambra West Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Patrick Obalum-Udoba has re-assured the people of the area that he will continue to give them effective and quality representation at all times.
Honourable Udoba disclosed this at his country home, Umueze Anam when he played host to the APGA Ward Principal Officers in Anambra West Constituency.
According to the Lawmaker who thanked the officers for the various roles they played during the last year’s Anambra governorship election, which the APGA’s candidate, Professor Chukwuma Soludo emerged victorious, he will not relent in ensuring that Ndi Anambra West enjoy dividends of democracy, as well as benefit from all the government’s policies and programmes.
Honourable Udoba who is the Anambra State House of Assembly Committee Chairman on Transport, further appealed to his constituents to extend the maximum support they showed to governor Willie Obiano’s administration to the incoming government of Professor Soludo for the onward development of the area and Anambra state at large.
The Anambra parliamentarian promised that he will always liaise with the youths of the Constituency in executing projects and policies to ensure that they are self-reliant, and appealed to the youths of Anambra West to always stay away from the consumption of crystal methamphetamine, otherwise known as (mkpulu mmili), as it is an evil wind that blows no one any good.
Two former Chairmen of Anambra West Local Government Area present at the event, Honourable Augustine Chukwurah and Dr. Tony Obierike appreciated Honourable Udoba for his numerous achievements in the Constituency as well as the recent construction of pipe borne water in most of the farm settlements in the council area.
Thanking Honourable Udoba for all he has done so far since he assumed office, the Ezi-Anam Ward Chairman, Mr. Dominic Obeche eulogized the Lawmaker for his excellent performance in his short term in office, and advised him to continue with his all-inclusive representation.
A former councilor representing Oroma Etiti Anam ward, Honourable Albert Okeke was also present at the event.
