Mr. Charles Chibuko Akwolu has been appointed Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Anambra West Local Government Area.

Mr. Akwolu’s appointment followed voluntary resignation of the former Chairman of the party in the Local Government Area, Mr. Godwin Onyeaka.

Speaking at the event, the member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Honourable Chinedu Obidigwe urged every APGA member to work assiduously to ensure the continuous growth of the party in the area.

The Federal Lawmaker, who thanked the former Chairman of the party, Mr. Onyeaka for his contributions towards the growth of the party in the Local Government and beyond, tasked the new Chairman, Mr. Akwolu to ensure the party’s continuous growth, as well as leave no stone unturned in ensuring that APGA wins all elective posts in the council area at the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Responding, Mr. Akwolu promised that he will discharge his duties with the fear of God, and will run an open and all-inclusive administration.

Meanwhile, Mr. Patrick Okoye has equally taken over as the Secretary of the party in the Local Government, just as Mr. Boniface Ozoemena resumed duty as the Youth leader of the party, after those previously occupying the positions voluntarily resigned with Mr. Onyeaka.
