An All-Progressives Grand Alliance chieftain and business executive in Nawgu, Dunukofia Local Government Area, Chief Tochukwu Ibekie has said that Governor Willie Obiano left an indelible legacy in Anambra State.
Chief Ibekie made this remark while speaking to the ABS in Awka.
Correspondent Chibuzor Okoye reports that Chief Ibekie, who said that Governor Obiano has done tremendously well in all aspects of the state economy, while citing the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport Umueri, International Convention Centre, Awka, Awka Township Stadium, enlisting Anambra State into a full-fledged oil producing state among others, made it clear that the economic impact of the Anambra Airport would be beneficial to generations to come.
The business executive, who said that the Obiano administration has done a fantastic job in human capital development, noted that Ndi Anambra are lucky to have a man like him, at a time the global economy suffered its worst recession as well as deadly pandemics.
On the incoming administration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Chief Ibekie maintained that Professor Soludo’s intellectual ingenuity which he displayed in his previous local and international assignments, would be brought to bear during his tenure and expressed optimism that the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor will deliver beyond expectations.
The APGA chieftain described the National Chairman of APGA, Dr Victor Oye and his national working committee as men and women of impeccable characters, who have ensured that the party grows from strength to strength and made it clear that the party will soon become a leading national party because of its ideology of selfless service to the nation.
