The Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Honourable Femi Gbajabiamiala says the House will liaise with the Federal Government to ensure that the Otuocha-Umueze Anam-Nzam-Ineka Federal Road receives adequate attention.

Hon. Gbajabiamiala made this known when the member representing Anambra West Constituency in the Anambra state House of Assembly, Honourable Patrick Obalum-Udoba visited the green Chambers of the National Assembly in Abuja.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Gbajabiamiala who noted that the member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe had drawn the attention of the federal government over the road severally, noted that the House will do everything humanly possible to ensure that work resumes at the all-important economic road.

The Speaker who commended Hon. Obidigwe for his all inclusive representation thanked the Anambra Lawmaker for the visit and assured that they will work in synergy with Hon. Obidigwe in drawing the federal government’s attention to the road, which when completed, will make road transportation from Anambra state to Abuja to be less cumbersome and fast.

Earlier, Hon. Udoba said that the road is very strategic to his people because of their agrarian nature and appealed to Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe to use his good office to fast track the construction of the road.

Responding, Hon. Obidigwe assured that the road would receive maximum attention under his tenure as the Lawmaker representing the Federal Constituency.
