The Anambra state Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. C. Don Adinuba says the leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, will continue to maintain all-inclusive leadership style, for all round development of the state.

The Commissioner stated this in Awka when the women arm of the Anambra state chapter of the Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, known as Women Business Group, NAWORG, paid him a courtesy visit in his office to solicit for synergy between the group and the ministry.

Correspondent, Emmanuel Okonkwo  reports that while addressing the group, Commissioner Adinuba acknowledged the fact that no society survives without women, hence the gender friendliness of Governor Willie Obiano led administration, and assured the association that the ministry will give them all the necessary assistance as their mandate aligns with the vision of the state government on regular improvement of the living standard of the citizenry, as well as the state’s economy.

The state Coordinator of the group, Pharmacist Chisom Uchem said the group is out to assist women to develop their businesses and be financially helpful to their families, pointing out that with the assistance of the ministry of Information and Public Enlightenment, women will become aware of the existence of the organization as well as various packages it has for them.

Pharmacist Uchem called on women across the state to join the group by identifying with any branch of the association in the state in order to enjoy the enormous benefits inherent in it.

In a vote of thanks, the Coordinator, Onitsha chapter of the organization, Lady Ifeoma Obieri appreciated the commissioner for warm reception accorded them and expressed hope that the group would collaborate with the ministry to move forward.
