The Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim says only fervent prayers and faith in God will salvage the world from slavery of sin.

Most Reverend Ibezim who stated this at Holy Trinity Church Ifite-Nibo, Awka South Council Area during a pastoral visit said they are in a perilous time and as such, the church should live up to the task of deepening their faith and committing everything in God’s hand through prayers.

Most Reverend Ibezim who is also the Bishop, Diocese of Awka, noted that churches should come together in peace, love each other and work as biblical Nehemiah so as to surmount the storms of life while he encouraged the parishioners to participate in the work of God more especially during this Lenten season.

Most Reverend Ibezim further reminded the parishioners not to fear because of life challenges rather to be focused and dedicated as God will deliver them and work according to their expectations.

The Vicar of the church, Reverend Emmanuel Ajako who thanked God for the visit, said they are in Nibo for evangelism and mission work noting that Most Reverend Ibezim’s visit has spurred them to do more work in saving souls that are perishing.
