Anambra State Governor, Chief Dr. Willie Obiano says the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, fought fifty eight cases in the court to sustain the position of the National Chairman of the party, Chief Victor Oye.

Government House Correspondent, Ejike Abana reports that the Governor stated this during a meeting with the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, at his country home, Aguleri, Anambra East local government area, where he recalled that under his administration, APGA passed through challenging legal actions from the opposition parties before the November sixth Anambra governorship.

Governor Obiano, who noted that the party had gone through thick and thin in the past, which had repositioned it for national challenges, insisted that APGA remains the strongest party with clear manifesto.

He added that APGA’s National Working Committee remains the best because of crop of personalities in the committee, whom he said are experienced in many disciplines, stressing that under APGA, his administration raised the bar of development of the State, expressing belief that the Governor-elect will sustain it.

Also speaking, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, reassured the Governor that members of the NWC will always collaborate with him for the growth of the party.

While praying for God to reward the Governor and promote him to a higher position in life, the National Chairman said Governor Obiano has transformed the State to a global height, as his three major legacy projects; the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, International Convention Center, Awka City Stadium remain the climax of achievements of his administration.
