People from all walks of life converged on Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church, Umueze, Isuofia, Aguata Council Area to join the family of Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne, the Commissioner for Public Utilities to show gratitude to God for his mercies, grace and blessings on him as he marked his golden Jubilee on earth.

 

The pontifical high mass which was presided over by the Bishop, Diocese of Ekwuluobia, Most Reverend Peter Okpalaeke was co-celebrated with the Catholic Bishops of Awka and Nnewi, Most Reverends Paulinus Ezeokafor and JonasBenson Okoye and hosts of clergymen and Reverend Sisters.

Also in attendance were the State Governor-elect, Professor Charles Soludo and Wife, Deputy Governor-elect, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Secretary to Anambra State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Commissioner for Women Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue, traditional rulers and other members of the executive council of Anambra State.

 

In a homily during the pontifical high mass, the Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Reverend Okoye said in the journey of life, one has to identify an area to deploy God’s given talent and potential to impact people around him.

In his speech, Engineer Ezenwanne thanked God for his mercies upon his life more especially during his moments of trial saying that everything is by God’s grace and appreciated everyone who in one way or the other joined to see him reach to this stage in life

 

Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor of Awka Diocese, prayed for Engineer Ezenwanne’s family asking him to continue with his charity work and live the life of sacrifice to others as more blessings will continue to come his way.
