An Industrialist Dr Godwin Okafor says Governor Willie Obiano is leaving indelible legacies in Anambra State.

Speaking to the ABS at Agu Awka Industrial Layout on the eight years of the Obiano administration which will come to an end this Thursday, Dr Okafor listed the Anambra International cargo and passenger Airport, at Umueri and Anambra International Convention centre in Awka as some of the major legacies of the outgoing administration.

According to Dr Okafor who is a community leader in Isuofia Aguata Local Government Area, the Anambra International cargo and passenger Airport has created jobs for the people and improved the economy.

He prayed God to continue to be with Governor Willie Obiano and his wife Dr Ebelechukwu in all their future endeavours.

On the in-coming Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soluudo, Dr Okafor expressed the hope that Professor Soludo will encourage the private sector, for enhanced industrial development of Anambra State.

Dr Okafor called for improved transport sector, quality education and participatory governance under the in-coming Soludo government and placing high premium on the security of life and property.

For Chief Cosmas Ukandu who described the in-coming Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo as a tested techocrat who has all it takes to transform Anambra State said that under Professor Soludo Anambra State will continue to be an example to Igbo Land in good governance.

Chief Ukandu who is from Imo State used the opportunity to call on the five Governors of the South-East to come together and forge a common front to tackle insecurity.
