The Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor has affirmed that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has all attributes of a good leader asking Ndi Anambra to give him maximum support.
Right Honourable Okafor noted that Governor Soludo’s wealth of experience, uncommon brilliance and in-depth understanding of public office, would drive his government to massive development of the state.
Speaking to newsmen at the Government House Awka, shortly after the swearing in of Professor Soludo as the sixth Executive Governor of Anambra State, Right Honourabl Okafor while congratulating him on behalf of the members of the state assembly, assured him of their total support.
The Speaker, who eulogized the immediate past governor, Chief Willie Obiano for finishing strong and for his wonderful legacies, expressed satisfaction with the cordial relationship existing between Chief Obiano and Professor Soludo and admonished politicians in the state not to ignite any problem between them.
He maintained that Governor Soludo is not a new person in public office, adding that he has held different exalted public offices where he distinguished himself as a trusted public servant urging Ndi Anambra to give maximum support and shun unnecessary opposition to enable him actualize his lofty programmes for the welfare of the citizenry and total development of the state.
