The Anambra State Ministry of Justice has showered encomium on the outgone Attorney General of the State and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Mrs Obianuju Nwogu, for her contributions to justice sector in the State while at the helm.
Barrister Nwogu, accompanied by her husband, Professor Ken Nwogu received applause and commendation at a send forth party organized by the staff and stakeholders of the ministry at the Head of Service Conference Hall, Jerome Udoji State Secretariat, Awka.
Barrister Nwogu in her remark, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love for her, thanking staff of the ministry for their support and encouragement throughout her tenure, even as she encouraged them to continue their good work and to support her successor.
Earlier in an opening remark, the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Anambra State Ministry of Justice, Barrister Ngozi Iwunor said the former Attorney General is a pragmatic and friendly leader who took care of staff of the ministry, and wished her well in her future endeavors.
Barrister Nkeiru Mokwe, the Head of Civil Litigation Department of the Ministry thanked Barrister Nwogu for being a loving and fair administrator, who demonstrated good leadership skills during her tenure and brought enormous growth to the ministry, praying for greater exploits in the life of the former Attorney General.
Correspondent, Onyinye Agubaeze reports thatĀ former Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C. Don Adinuba, former Commissioner for Economic Planning and Development, Mr Mark Okoye, former Head of Service, Barrister Harry Udu, Justice Peace Oti, among others, were present at the event.
