Following the November six governorship election victory by Professor Chukwuma Soludo under the platform of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Ndi Anambra have high hopes that the state will fare better.

The high expectations again came to the fore as Professor Soludo assumed office as the governor of Anambra State.

In an interview with some stakeholders at the inauguration ceremony held at the government house Awka, the former National Chairman of APGA, Senator Victor Umeh and the chairman, All Soludo Support Groups, Mr. Chinedu Nwoye noted that Anambra is heading to the right direction.

The wife of the former Igbo leader, the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Iyom Bianca Ojukwu in her view observed that the inaugural speech of the Governor speaks a lot about the future of the state and called on Ndi Anambra to cooperate with the new administration led by Soludo to achieve a livable and prosperous homeland.

For Mr. Joe Anatune and Chief Jude Emecheta, the new administration will be anchored on excellence, due process and will be committed to building a smart mega city as promised in his manifesto.

In their reactions , Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo, Chief ThankGod Ibeh and Mrs. Amaka Obi said the transition is of great significance to Ndi Anambra, expressing hope that with the support of the people, the new administration will bring that change that will affect every Onye Anambra in a very positive way.

They congratulated the new governor and prayed he succeeds by delivering the dividends of democracy as expected by the electorates.
