The Acting Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr. Gab Okpalaeze has inaugurated ABS Assets Monitoring Committee.
Correspondent Chibuzor Okoye reports that while inaugurating the committee at ABS corporate headquarters in Awka, Mr. Okpaleze said their assignment is to monitor and take inventory of all ABS movable and immovable assets such as lands, structures, vehicles, equipment, among others across Nigeria, in order to put them to adequate use for the betterment of the media organization.
Mr Okpalaeze urged the committee to discharge their duty without fear or favour, even as he warned against witch-huntig anybody, noting that members of the committee were selected because of their pedigree and integrity.
The Chairman of the committee, Prince Emeka Kalu, who thanked Mr. Okpaleze for finding them worthy for the job, assured that they will do the job professionally and judiciously.
In a vote of thanks, the Secretary of the committee and Director of ABS Legal services, Barrister Juliet Amasiatu also promised that they will live above board in the discharge of their duty.
Other members of the committee are: Mr. Casmir Onugbolu, Mr. Steve Nwainokpor, Chibuzor Obidike, Mr. Afam Obidike, IG Ezekwesili and Mr. Nonso Nwoye.
