Stakeholders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, have expressed confidence that the new Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, would use his wealth of experience to change the narrative in Anambra and use his good office to pave way for an enduring leadership for the people of Anambra State.
The stakeholders stated this while congratulating Governor Soludo and His Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim on their successful inauguration and assumption of office.
For Chief Cyril Okoye, an APGA stalwart in Adazi Ani Community, the renowned Professor of Economics would bring a paradigm shift in the Anambra political sphere and other ways of doing things for the good of the poor masses.
He commended Governor Soludo for commencing actions immediately and urged him to sustain the momentum.
Chief Okoye lauded the Governor’s decision over touting and illegal revenue collection in Anambra saying that it’s a good step in the right direction.
On his part, A Former National Assembly Member, Representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Honourable Charles Odedo, lauded the Aguata-born economist and former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria for his vision and promise of making Anambra a mega industrialized and digital economy.
Honourable Odedo however emphasized that effective collaboration among the critical stakeholders will go a long way in helping the Governor achieve his dreams.
In their separate remarks, an APGA chieftain in Ichida community, Chief Innocent Chiekezie and his Awgbu community counterpart, Chief ThankGod Ibeh who expressed hope that the Soludo led administration will bring a lot of development in Anambra State called on Ndi Anambra to support the government.
They lauded the Governor’s philosophy of one Anambra, one people, one Agenda and the goal to build Anambra into a livable and prosperous smart megacity and assured their unalloyed support.
Chief Van George Ezeogidi of Uttuh Community, also believed that with the blueprint driven from three major documents, Anambra Vision 2070, the People’s Manifesto and the Transition Committee report, Anambra will definitely transit beyond petroleum into the digital world of the 4th industrial revolution and envision Anambra as an industrial, technological, leisure and entertainment hub of West Africa as proposed by the Governor.
