A Catholic priest, Reverend Father Jude Nebeife says Christians join in wasting God’s riches when they fail to live out virtues as true followers of Christ.
In his sermon centred on the biblical prodigal son, Reverend Father Nebeife, who is the Vicar of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Abba, Njikoka local Government Area, called for true repentance among Christians, whom he said should be the Christ others encounter in their daily lives.
He explained that many unanswered prayers are because those who gather to pray do not do so in Christ’s name, and maintained that none can do anything good when detached from Christ.
Reverend Father Nebeife, while reminding all that God wants sinners to return to Him for eternal life, urged Christians to make more efforts to be at peace with God, assuring that God is ever willing to welcome back those who went astray.
