The member representing Awka South Two Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Chukwuma Okoye has assured his constituents of more dividends of democracy if re-elected.
House of Assembly Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the legislator gave the assurance at his country home, Amawbia in Awka South local government area while receiving the sum of five hundred thousand naira from Obizi Ekunie Movement; in support of his re-election bid.
The legislator thanked the Obizi Ekunie Movement for appreciating his good works in Awka South Two Constituency, assuring that he will continue to give his constituents effective representation.
In his remark, the President of Obizi Ekunie Movement, Mr. Chigozie Obiako described Honourable Okoye as a quintessential lawmaker; who justified the mandate of the people of Awka South Two Constituency with quality performance.
He revealed that the group is saddled with the responsibility of assessing public office holders in Awka South Two constituency, with a view to rewarding excellent performances.
In a vote of thanks, a member of the association, Mr. Chika Nwoye also commended Honourable Okoye for his legendary performance in Awka South Two Constituency, urging him not to relent.
