Honourable Ossy Onuko has picked expression of interest and nomination forms to run for the seat of Awka South One Constituency in the Anambra state House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA,
ABS Correspondent, Ekwi Ajide reports that Honourable Onuko, who hails from Awka in Awka South council area, picked the forms at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
He counted competence, finesse and ability to make good laws that will bring positive changes in the state and influence the lives of his people as some of the things that made him most qualified for the job.
Honourable Onuko, who had come clad in akwete cloth, said he is into the race to assist the state Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo in giving Ndi Anambra a prosperous and liveable homeland.
He promised to ensure that lawmakers in the state work together to achieve cordial relationship with Governor Soludo to enable him fulfill his promises to Ndi Anambra.
Honourable Onuko assured his people of quality representation, and urged them to hold him by his words, especially those contained in his manifesto.
He promised to give people of Awka South One Constituency the type of representation that has never been experienced anywhere, adding that he is going to raise the bar by following the footsteps of the Governor, even as he prayed for a free, fair and transparent primary election.
