Residents of Onitsha and environs demonstrated sense of patriotism yesterday as waste evacuation and drainage desilting exercise commenced in Onitsha .
They applauded Governor Soludo as they trooped out to participate in the exercise, chanting solidarity songs.

Speaking to the ABS at Upper Iweka, Mr Bamiyi and Mr Stephen Ajah lauded the initiative and commended Governor Soludo for his humility and visionary leadership.
They Assured of their total support to the exercise in other to yield the desired result.
For Mrs Florence Ezeanyi and Cecilia Okafor Ocha who joined the exercise, what Governor Soludo is doing will give Anambra a new look, assuring to be law abiding with regards to waste disposal.
