Anambra Youth Volunteers have eulogized Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration for organizing Peace and Security Dialogue Conference to tackle the incessant insecurity menace in the State.

 

In an address presented by the group during the conference held in Awka and read by their leader, Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, they commended

the purpose driven leadership of the State Government for not just inviting all Paramount Youth Organizations to the Conference but for also giving the Youths the opportunity to make contributions.

 

The Anambra Youths Volunteer said that peace and security are the necessary tools for Nation Building and Youths are also indispensable factors for a lasting Peace and sustainable development, adding that Injustice, unemployment, hunger and Idleness are major factors that promote Instability and Insecurity.

 

They equally recommended Justice for all Political Prisoners, promotion of cottage industries and other viable facilities that can engage the average Igbo Youth for Rehabilitation, Rebranding and Reintegration for a better Society and disclosed that they are determined to assisting the Government in curbing Youth prone excesses capable of breaching peace and security in the state, through Youth- to -Youth approach.

 

Anambra Youth Volunteer further urged all Igbo Youths to give Peace a Chance and desist from any act capable of causing destructions and Insecurity in any part of Igbo land, even as they encouraged the Anambra State Government to continue on the trajectory of accommodation and sense of belonging, especially for appointing a Youth leader to lead the State ministry of youth.
