Senator Victor Umeh, has purchased the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, expression of interest and nomination forms to contest for the Anambra Central Senatorial District.
Senator Umeh, who came to the APGA National Secretariat at Abuja in accompany of top APGA chieftains said he came, in response to calls from stakeholders in Anambra Central Senatorial District and the South East as a whole to represent them at the Red Chambers, expressing readiness to replicate what he did in the eight Assembly.
While promising to be a bold and courageous voice for Ndi Igbo, Senator Umeh, while swearing to do more interventions for Nigerians, said he would work to achieve equal citizenship rights for all Nigerians irrespective of tribe or calling.
Also, the immediate past Commissioner for Environment, Honourable Obi Nwankwo has picked the expression of interest and nomination forms from the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for Awka North and South Federal Constituency.
Honourable Nwankwo, who picked the forms from the National Headquarters of the APGA at Abuja, said he is in the race for the good and interest of members of constituency.
According to Honourable Nwankwo, his people have been yearning for effective and quality representation at the Green Chambers and with his experience, as a successful businessman, he has what it takes to be a good leader as was seen through his track record as a commissioner of three different ministries.
While commending APGA leadership for promising aspirants of a free and fair primaries, Honourable Nwankwo specially lauded the National Chairman, Chief Victor Oye, the National Working Committee, the National Executive Council, and State EXCO of APGA and described the 2023 general elections as a watershed for Nigeria, Ndi Anambra and Ndi Awka North and South.
He noted that if Ndi Anambra can elect the right people into office to work with Governor Chukwuma Soludo, then the journey to re-constructing the local government, state, regional and national economies has started.
