The Acting Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr. Gab Okpalaeze has called on the Onitsha business community to reciprocate Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s multi-faceted interventions in the socio economic and health challenges of the area by remaining responsible and law-abiding citizens.

Mr Okpalaeze who was exchanging views with the Management of TransglobePharmaceuticals, Onitsha, said the governor’s plan to transform Okpoko into a smart, prosperous live able city, as well as salvage the commercial city of Onitsha from menace of touts and extortionists, require their support with prompt payment of tax and genuine levies.

Correspondent Kenechukwu Chukwudi reports that the Acting Managing Director, who was with some senior staff and committee members of the recently inaugurated Revenue Think-Tank of the station, appreciated the pharmaceutical company for being one of the known stakeholders of Anambra Broadcasting Service and noted that there was need for both of them to struck key partnership that will benefit both the station and the company.

According to Mr. Okpalaeze ABS is repositioning itself to be a media brand with global competitiveness and will keep doing everything necessary to see a holistic change in the media station, seeking for support from stakeholders.

Receiving the ABS team, the Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transglobe Pharmaceutical company, Chief Jasper Okpalafulaku thanked the ABS for the visit and extolled the drive of the Acting Managing Director to put ABS on a constant growth and stride, saying the company is well disposed to partner with ABS, especially in sponsorship of its programmes and advert for the company.

The Chairman of the company, Chief Barth Eli maintained that both the company and ABS will definitely enjoy fruitful partnerships, urging ABS to keep repositioning itself to be better.

In a vote of thanks, a member of the ABS Revenue Think Tank, Mrs Franca Ononuju thanked the company for its partnership over the years and hoped that the visit will yield more dividends for both, as ABS will keep striving to be the best in broadcast Media.
