The Deputy Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly and member representing Ihiala Two Constituency, Honourable Paschal Agbodike has picked Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for Ihiala Federal Constituency.
Honourable Agbodike picked the forms under the plat form of the All- Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, for the 2023 general elections.
Honourable Agbodike, who met with stakeholders and party members from his constituency in Awka, said that his decision to contest followed calls from concerned stakeholders and Ihiala people for him to represent them at the green chambers.
Presenting the forms to members of the party, Honourable Agbodike, while stating that he has the pedigree to represent his people due to his selfless nature, explained that his projects so far are people-oriented and that he is determined to meet their most pressing needs.
In his remark, the chairman of  APGA, Ihiala Local Government Area, Honourable Chigozie Chukwudum maintained that the party is rooting for him to succeed, owing to his track records of quality representation and experience.
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh described Honourable Agbodike as a man of great potential, a good son of the soil, and one, who has experience and the capacity to deliver.
In their various remarks, some party members, including Barrister Kelechi Abasiorah and Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Ojiakor described Honourable Agbodike’s decision as a welcome development for Ihiala people, even as they added that the zoning arrangement practiced in the area, also favoured him.
They extolled the Deputy Speaker for his good works in Ihiala, promising him maximum support.
Ihiala Federal Constituency is made up of Ihiala, Amorka, Azia, Lilu, Okija, Mbosi, Isseke, Orsumoghu, Ubuluisuzor and Uli.
