The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Dr Paulinus Ezeokafor has said that the best way to pass the message of salvation is through humility.

He charged Christians to make sacrifices for peace to reign in the world.

In his sermon at St Paul’s Catholic church, Abba in Njikoka council area, during his visit to the church, Bishop Ezeokafor equally encouraged leaders at all levels to see their positions as service to God for humanity.

He warned that the devil is always on the prowl to sow seed of disunity among Christians and in the world, but encouraged people to always champion peace at all times.

Bishop Ezeokafor, who was represented at the visit by the Dean of Abagana Deanery and Parish priest of St Mark’s Catholic church Abagana, Reverend Father Paul Chimezie explained that humility begets peace, unity and progress, and helps man conquer many temptations.

He explained that God wants organised life for His people; anchoring on humility and peace, which was why Jesus Christ remained humble till death and brought salvation to mankind.
