The new Anambra state Commissioner for Information Chief Paul Nwosu has held a maiden meeting with the Heads of Departments , Parastatals and Agencies of to the ministry, where he unfolded the Soludo solution to them.
The meeting held at the office of the Commissioner at Jerome Udorji Secretariat Awka gave them the opportunity to brainstorm on their responsibilities, challenges and means of solving them.
Before the meeting, the Commissioner was conducted round the units in the ministry by the Supervising Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Barrister . Samuel Ikeh before the official hand over of the reports of the Heads of the units and parastatals to the Commissioner.
Addressing the meeting, Commissioner Nwosu who stated that the meeting was essentially to familiarize himself with the heads of departments and get to understand their responsibilities and chart a way forward, noted that the meeting has opened his eyes to the challenges and prospects, as well as availed him the opportunity to brief them on the Governor Soludo’s agenda for Ndi Anambra.
 He charged all to be committed so as to come up with visible achievement within the immediate short term.
Commissioner Nwosu stressed the need to sensitize the masses on the need to secure the environment, pay taxes and be security conscious noting that Anambra people and IPOB are not the cause of insecurity in the state but armed gang from other states and urged Ndi Anambra to take ownership of their state.
The Acting Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr Gab Okpalaeze, Managing Director Anambra Newspaper and Printing Corporation, National Light, Sir Chuka Nnabife, Director Anambra Library Services, Dr. Nkechi Udeze, Deputy Director Ministry of Information, Mr. Anthony Nweke, MD Anambra Signage and Advertising Agency, Chief Jude Emecheta, among others gave areas of their successes, listed challenges and needs of their establishments.
