The Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare has expressed its determination to collaborate with the general public to achieve its set objectives.
The wife of the Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, stated this during an interface between the Ministry and some relevant groups in Awka.
Speaking through the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Honourable Ify Obinabo, Dr Soludo intimated the group of the Ministry’s plan to embark on an aggressive raid of human trafficking agents masquerading under the guise of Non-Governmental Organizations, whose victims are majorly the vulnerable, sick persons and children.
She reiterated that the present administration has zero tolerance for trafficking in any forms.
