The Acting Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr. Gab Okpalaeze has assured staff of the establishment better welfare package, as the station is being repositioned for better.

He stated this while addressing staff who received him at the station’s corporate headquarters in Awka with chants of joy and dance when he returned with a brand-new Sienna Bus donated to the establishment by a stakeholder of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Azubuike Ekweozor.

Correspondent Kenechukwu Chukwudi reports that Mr. Okpalaeze who could not hide his excitement together with staff of the organization, noted that the means of transportation will be of immense benefit to the station and appreciated Chief Ekweozor for his gesture.

He also assured of innovative ways  to bring about enriching contents, which will focus on the rich cultural heritage of Ndi Anambra and its people to unlock the tourism potential of the State for investors and tourists.

Mr. Okpalaeze who also harped need to ensuring that the revenue base of the station is improved , said it is important as the times demand thinking outside the box to achieve result within available means.

He used the occasion to intimate staff of ongoing negotiations to get one of the airlines owned by an Anambra illustrious son to partner the station in revenue generation efforts, adding that more will come, with co-operation of all.

The staff of the station who danced and thanked the Acting Managing Director for his efforts, promised to give him the needed cooperation to move the station forward.
