Guest on ABS Audience Participatory Programme, “Nzuko Anambra”, Comrade Obi Ochije Modilim has commended the giant strides of Governor Chukwuma Soludo since assumption of office.

According to him, Governor Soludo is running an inclusive governance, culminating in giving the youths a sense of belonging in his recent appointments, clearing of drainages in Okpoko, declaring state of emergency on Anambra roads, among other laudable achievements within one month of his administration.

Comrade Ochije, who urged Ndi Anambra to give unflinching support to the Governor to help actualize his desire to rebuild the State, pointed out that since security of the State is a collective responsibility, Ndi Anambra should be security conscious by reporting every suspicious movement to security agents to minimize the level of insecurity, boost economy and development of the State.

He appealed to agitators to embrace the Governor’s olive branch for a conducive atmosphere that will bring about sustainable development, noting that violence is counter-productive and does nobody any good.

Comrade Ochije urged wealthy Ndi Anambra to come home and invest in the spirit of aku luo uno, for job and wealth creation, as well as industrialization that would ensure meaningful engagement of the youths in order to reduce restiveness, unemployment and spate of insecurity.

Highlighting the importance of a clean environment, Comrade Ochije charged the citizens to imbibe the culture of cleanliness at all times, especially now that rain has returned.

The Awka community stakeholder also urged Ndi Anambra to always pay their taxes and levies as their civic obligations in order to support Soludo’s administration in its determination to rebuild the state.

Some callers during the programme, including Chinwe Akputo, Anthony Umerah from Zamfara State and Kpokuochukwu Abazu from Ndiokpala-eze, called for concerted effort in the development of the State.
