Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has assured of his government’s commitment to partnering the church in all areas.
Governor Soludo gave the assurance at the Cathedral Church of Saint Faith, Awka, during an event.
Correspondent Emmanuel Chigbata reports that the governor, represented by his deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim stated that the present government will not relent in supporting the church as it is known for its efficiency in service delivery.
Governor Soludo implored Christians to give maximum support to the church as they have been called to worship Jesus Christ.
The Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim, however prayed for the faithful.
