The Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Anambra Broadcasting Service Chapter, has expressed appreciation to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, for appointing two former staff of the Anambra Broadcasting Service into his cabinet.

In a release signed by its Chairman, Mr Godwin Okonkwo and Secretary Chief Patrick Ikedigwe, the union commended Governor Soludo for appointing Mr Don Onyenji, the Commissioner for Culture, Tourism and Entertainment and Mrs Ifeyinwa Obinabo, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, who they say will impact positively in his administration.

The union congratulated the two Commissioners for being found worthy to serve the State government and urged them to be good ambassadors of the Anambra Broadcasting Service.

The union expressed delight with the acting capacity of Mr Gab Okpalaeze as Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Service and appealed to Governor Chukwuma Soludo to confirm him as the substantive Managing Director of the establishment in view of his antecedents.

They also congratulated Governor Soludo on his successful inauguration and urged him to use his experience and pedigree to make Anambra State the pride of the East.
