The Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Catholic Archdiocese Most Reverend Denis Isizoh has dedicated Saint Kevin’s Catholic Church Nnobi in Idemili South Local Government Area

The event according to ABS Correspondent Festus Obierika coincided with the unveiling and presentation of two books written by the Parish Priest of the Church Very Reverend Father Christopher Ngwu, which attracted both indigenes and non-indigenes of the Community as well as members of the church in the diaspora.

In his homily Bishop Isizoh explained that dedication means to handover a completed church building to God adding that once a church is dedicated, the Parishioners are also dedicated to God and called on the Parishioners to train their children in the fear of the Lord.

Bishop Isizoh commended the Parish Priest very Reverend Father Ngwu for his efforts in ensuring the completion of the church building and the Parishioners for being supportive while praying God to reward them abundantly.

The Parish Priest, Reverend Father Ngwu described the visit of the Bishop as a mission of love even as he praised the Parishioners for their commitment.

In their welcome address presented by the Secretary of the parish council, Mrs Ada Eruchalu they praised both Archbishop Valerian Okeke and Bishop Dennis Isizoh for their numerous achievements recorded within their episcopacy in the Archdiocese especially in the areas of organization, administration and pastoral apostolates.

Speaking to the ABS, the Chairman on the occasion, Mr Peter Ezeimo called on the Parishioners to harken to the call of the Bishop and have a change of attitude by devoting more time in things of the Lord.
