The Deputy Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Chief Emeka Aforka has described a righteous individual as a gain to God and humanity.

 

Speaking at Eha Ndiagu in Eha Alumona in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State when he led top Anambra State government officials as well as his kinsmen to pay a condolence visit to his in-laws on the demise of his father-in-law, elder John Eke-Eze, Chief Aforka said that his late father-in-law was a peace maker, community leader and a man of many positive attributes.

Chief Aforka who represents Orumba North Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly expressed gratitude to the Anambra State delegation, his kinsmen, friends and sympathizers that accompanied him to pay last respect to his late father-in-law and prayed God to grant his soul eternal repose.

 

Also speaking, the Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor on behalf of other lawmakers, commiserated with Chief Aforka and the Eke-Eze family on the death of their father and father-in-law and urged them to take solace in the fact that their patriarch lived a fulfilled life.

One of the children of the deceased and wife of Chief Emeka Aforka, Lady Lilian described her late father as a true man of God who trained all his children in the way of the Lord and assured that they will uphold his good virtues.

 

Some of the notable personalities who accompanied Chief Aforka to the Condolence were a large number of his colleagues in the State House of Assembly, State Commissioner for Social Welfare, Women and Children Affairs, Mrs Ify Obinabo, former federal lawmaker, Chief Ben Nwankwo, former state commissioner for works, Chief Marcel Ifejiofor as well as former Chairman, Orumba South Local Government Area, Sir Raymond Onyegu among others.
