Ebonesie Leaders in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State have reaffirmed their support for the Deputy Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Pascal Agbodike, describing him as the most eligible APGA Candidate for 2023 House of Representatives election in the Zone.
The Spokesman of Ebonesie and Former Executive Chairman Ihiala Local Government Area, Mr Chigozie Awugosi made the declaration in a conference shortly after rising from the APGA Anambra South Senatorial zone Forum in Awka.
Mr Awugosi confirmed that the previous comprehensive meeting held with all Ebonesie leaders comprising Presidents General, Traditional rulers, APGA Officials and stakeholders of the six Communities of Ebonesie including, Mbosi, Azia, Orsumoghu, Ubuluiziuzo, Isseke, and Lilu all threw their weights behind the candidature of the Deputy Speaker in the upcoming election.
He extolled the legislative prowess of the Deputy Speaker who according to him has not only represented the constituency with quality Legislation and attracted major verifiable developmental projects but has garnered legislative experience to represent them in the higher chamber of the National Assembly.
Mr Awugosi condemned strongly the political rascality of a certain individual whom he accused was making false speculations against the Deputy Speaker, describing him as none member of APGA hence have no say in the party.
Also Speaking, the representative of Orsumoghu Community, Mr Chris Ezenyimulu, confirmed that APGA Family in Ebonesie is intact and has no faction and maintained that though in politics, there could be descenting voices but reassured their determination to deliver APGA Candidates in the forthcoming election.
Representatives of Azia, Isseke, and Ubuluisiuzo, Mr Mmuomaife Uchenna, Mr Andy Ezike, and Chief Chijioke Okoye all took turns to eulogize the sterling leadership qualities of the Deputy Speaker ruling out the alleged micro zoning formula by the opposition and standing firmly on the Ebonesie resolution to provide a fair playing ground for all contestants during the primaries.
